CAL FIRE defensible space inspections will begin the first week of April. CAL FIRE is only inspecting vegetation from structures out to 100 feet or the property line, whichever comes first, and the goal is to work with homeowners to make properties and communities more defensible. For more information on how to create and maintain your defensible space, visit www.fire.ca.gov/DSpace
